Abstract
Title: Multi-Site Soil-Structure-Foundation Interaction Test (MISST): Illinois (NEES-2006-0201)
Year Of Curation: 2011
Description: The Multi-Site Soil-Structure-Foundation Interaction Test (MISST), conducted by collaborating partners at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), and Lehigh University (Lehigh) is presented. The project was developed to provide a realistic test bed application with which to verify and extend all components of the NEESgrid as well as all components of the sites taking part in the distributed simulation. Concurrently, it has extended and represents the current state-of-the-art in distributed and integrated experimental-analytical earthquake engineering simulation.
