Abstract

This work was supported by the National Science Foundation, Program of Structural Systems and Hazards Mitigation of Structures (SSHM), Award No 0618183. The testing facility for the project was the UC San Diego Large High Performance Outdoor Shake Table (LHPOST) with the operational support from The George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation and from the Department of CECM, California State University, Long Beach. Logistical support of the project was provided by Basseri Engineering, Santa Monica, CA. Nevertheless, any findings, opinions, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this Project Report do not, necessarily, reflect the views of the mentioned above institutions.
