Abstract

This is an OpenSees model of a simple shear test. The model can predict the drained or undrained responses of sand or clay under cyclic or monotonic loading. Two constitutive models are available for the soil, the Pressure-Dependent-Multi-Yield02 (PDMY02) model for sand and the Pressure-Independent-Multi-Yield (PIMY) model for clay. The model consists of two .tcl files (for use in OpenSees), one .m file (for post-processing and generation of graphs in Matlab), and a note on the PDMY02 and PIMY model. Also included is documentation explaining how to run the files.
