Amazon
Greetings. Friends, I would like to hear your recommendations. I am a novice seller on Amazon and am currently researching the issue of filing reports, including to the IRS. As far as I know, the reporting is done through a 1099-K form, where can I find out more details about that? I am interested in some questions on how to work with this form.

It's good that you're asking yourself this question and planning to figure it all out ahead of time. As an Amazon seller, it is important to understand your amazon 1099-k report and how it is calculated. This report will show the number of gross sales collected by Amazon and can be used for tax purposes. You should download the appropriate reports from your Amazon Seller Central account to make sure the numbers are correct. When doing your tax return, it's important to consider all fees charged by Amazon. The 1099-K only reports sales processed through Amazon and does not take into account other sources of income, such as interest or dividends.

Hi all! How do I communicate effectively with an Amazon seller to learn more about a product, clarify terms of a purchase, or resolve questions? Is there a specific way for sellers to be contacted on the platform, such as a message section or contact information, and what steps should be taken to ensure that communication with the seller is prompt and informative? I would like to know how to contact a seller on amazon to ensure a more confident purchase and ensure you fully understand the product offering before making a purchase.

Hello! As a novice Amazon seller, it's essential to understand IRS reporting. The 1099-K form is indeed used for reporting income, but Amazon provides a comprehensive seller dashboard where you can access detailed financial reports and tax-related information. To navigate this, focus on Amazon KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) within your seller account. These metrics can help you track sales, fees, and income, making it easier to report accurately and manage your taxes effectively. Additionally, consider consulting a tax professional for personalized guidance on IRS requirements for Amazon sellers
