The Lamborghini Urus 2023 will likely offer a plug-in hybrid option, following in the footsteps of the Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga and Audi Q8.
The confirmation came from Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali, who said during a presentation at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show that that the company is exploring various options for its future lineup.
"We're working with our colleagues [from Volkswagen Group] on the development of a plug-in hybrid powertrain," he told journalists. "There will be one coming soon, but I can't say when."
Domenicali also said that Lamborghini is looking into all-electric models, but it's not yet clear if a fully electric car will make production.
