Title: Experimental Determination of Performance of Drift-Sensitive Nonstructural Facade Under Seismic Loading (NEES-2011-1049)

Description: A multi-disciplinary investigation into the seismic performance of various state-of-the-art nonstructural systems for commercial real estate. The primary system evaluated was precast concrete cladding facade. Also evaluated were window units and plumbing risers. Evaluation included experimental testing, structural simulation, robotic post-event inspection methods, data synchronization and post-event adaptive reuse of building components. Experimental testing was conducted in 2011 and 2012.
