How important is a warranty on a used car ?
Looking to get a car in the next few days. Came across a few dealers one that offers 1 year Australian wide after market warranty on a car I'm interested in it's $8990. And the other dealer offers 3 year unlimited warranty on all their used vehicles, their cars I'm interested in are $18000 to $20000 price range. I've never owned a car with a warranty before so not sure how important it is. Is it worth choosing the cars with the 3 year warranty for peace of mind or because it's used am I better off going with something cheaper to get around in. Any suggestions would be heaps appreciated.
