Being able to write essays in school will be the backbone of your success. You will be asked to write essays in practically every class, including English, science, and even math! Not only are you required to write essays in high school, but it will also be expected of you in college as well. In the following essay example, we will take a look at the classic five-paragraph essay.

The five-paragraph essay always follows the same basic format:

  •     Introduction
  •     Paragraph 1
  •     Paragraph 2
  •     Paragraph 3
  •     Conclusion

Formal essays often take the form of five-paragraph essays. Many students are not willing to put in the effort and immediately ask rewrite my essay for me those who do it better. This is because they both rely on the thesis. However, the thesis of a five-paragraph essay is directly related to the number of paragraphs: the thesis will consist of three parts, each one to be supported by a paragraph.

For example, you might say “The economic collapse of the United States is due to the declining value of the dollar in relation to the Euro, the collapse of the housing market, and the declining world view of the United States.” Each paragraph will then support one part of the thesis. Thus, this type of thesis is called a three-prong thesis.

Now your first paragraph would focus on proving the first prong of your thesis, which in this case would be the declining value of the dollar in relation to the Euro. You would point out facts that prove your point.

The first sentence would state the first prong of the thesis, and how it relates to the thesis. A typical format would be: “The declining value of the US dollar in relation to the Euro was an important factor contributing to the decline of the United States economy because…”.

It is important, however, to not abuse the world “because”. Do not use it as the introduction sentence to every paragraph, as it begins to lose its effectiveness. Other alternatives include “resulted in”, “caused”, and “attributed”.

Now, the rest of the body will support your introductory sentence. Much like the actual structure of the essay, the body of the paragraph follows the same formula: introduction, statement, proof, proof, and conclusion. Following the same example, we get this:

“The declining value of the US dollar in relation to the Euro was an important factor contributing to the decline of the United States economy because it resulted in a decrease of international trade revenue.”

Now we would provide examples and proof for the statement “it resulted in a decrease of international trade revenue.” Perhaps you could provide an actual example, statistics or reports to backup your claims. You should not be providing opinion here, rather facts.

The conclusion of the paragraph should emphasize why your statement proves the thesis true. You are basically restating the entire paragraph into one sentence. Once you can learn these 5 basic rules, you will be able to answer the request write my paper yourself, to become an essay writer.

Finally, bring the essay to a conclusion. Once again, summarize the main points of your essay. An example format would be “As you can see because of (this example), (this example), and (this example), these were all contributing factors of the economic collapse of the United States”. It is important that your conclusion somehow links back to the thesis.
